Terms and Conditions

Last updated: November 2026

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of AI BusinessMate ("the service"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you are using the service for a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use the assistants. You must give accurate information, keep your password secure, and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity that happens under your login.

One account is for one person or business. You may not share credentials, resell access, or use the service to operate a competing product.

3. Plans, credits and billing

The service is offered on a free plan and on paid monthly plans. Paid plans are billed monthly in South African rand (ZAR) through our payment provider, starting on the date you subscribe and renewing each month until cancelled.

Each plan includes a monthly allowance of AI credits. Credits reset at the start of each billing period, do not accumulate, and are consumed when a generation is processed. Requests that fail before processing do not consume credits.

If a payment fails, we will retry it. Paid features and credit allowances may be suspended until payment succeeds, and your account may move to the free plan.

You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from your account settings. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Because credits are consumed on use, payments already made for a completed period are not refundable except where the law requires it.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to create or send content that is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, or that infringes someone else's rights; to impersonate a person or business; to generate spam or unsolicited bulk outreach; to attempt to access another customer's data; to probe, overload or interfere with the service; or to reverse engineer or resell it.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these rules, and will tell you why where we are able to.

5. AI-generated content

The assistants produce text using AI models. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your situation, and it does not constitute legal, tax, accounting or financial advice. You must review anything you send to a customer, publish, or rely on.

You keep responsibility for the content you submit. You own the outputs you generate, subject to the terms of the AI model providers and to the extent permitted by law, and you are responsible for how you use them.

Documents produced by the invoice and quotation assistant are templates generated from the information you enter. You are responsible for their accuracy and for compliance with the tax and invoicing rules that apply to your business.

6. Sales and lead tools

The sales assistant plans campaigns and writes outreach. It does not source, buy, scrape or supply contact lists, and no output from the service should be read as a guarantee of leads, customers or revenue.

7. Availability

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, third-party provider outages, or events outside our control may interrupt it. We may change or withdraw features, and will give reasonable notice of significant changes that affect a paid plan.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business opportunity, or loss arising from content generated by the assistants or from decisions you make using it.

Our total liability in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service and cancel your plan at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the service ends; saved content may be deleted after a reasonable period.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app, and continuing to use the service after the update means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Questions can be sent through the contact page.
